It was so easy and fun for me to incorporate my theme designer into my submission post; I truly do love my theme so being able to spread the word about it is very rewarding.

You've covered some excellent ideas on other opportunities we can run with during the competition, thank you!

By the way, the 'potential for affiliate commissions' you mentioned above has already eventuated into actual dollars. :)

Good point... I took your advice and I posted a thread requesting votes for the forum community at Elegant Themes.

There's so many nice blogs inside this contest it will be interesting to see who the winners are. I even seen another Elegant Theme in the contest.

Brian - you're being so hard on yourself - Stop That!

This contest is specifically for BLOGGERS, not theme designers. You're actually helping to promote elegant themes by being a nominee!

I think you should write a post asap about your theme and why you would recommend Elegant Themes to other WP users. Remember, Nick can get free exposure through this.

Here's a little secret that I plan to expose in a full post soon; this contest isn't so much about design as it is about self-promotion, social networking, call-to-actions and building relationships.

You're getting votes because you're getting your name out there and utilizing available resources. You are a perfect example of a strong Internet marketer!

If you still feel bad, why not share your prizes with Nick if you win? Better yet, take my advice from this post and let him know you've entered this contest. If you win, it can only bring good attention to him and I'm sure he'll be proud.
