That's great Bisaani! Now you should advertise your Do Follow love with an icon of some sort. I think there are plugins for this type of thing. Also, consider adding commentluv to your blog. When people see Do Comment, they will be enticed into commenting.

Alexa only shows one for my blog too! I think it falls in line with how Google displays backlinks. They only show the ones they consider relevant or important. Every search engine will give you a different backlink number.

If you want to get a real view of how many people link to you (not just the links se's find important), do a search for your domain without the "link:."

Bloggers have different styles and varying opinions on the importance of minimizing links (usually for SEO reasons) versus being generous with them. Some of us are very generous with links and choose to use dofollow plugins including CommentLuv and KeywordLuv.

Dofollow bloggers often choose to interact with each other because their styles and beliefs are similar. Our blogs are easy to find as there are tons of search tools and lists. My post on that subject stays among my Recently Most Popular.

We believe in enhancing our relationships through using dofollow and do our best to manage poor quality comments from those who are only interested in a link from us. It is not always easy to tell the difference between those and sincere, lesser quality, comments.

I agree with you there Keller, I see so many blogs that do commenting just to gain links and only few do it for building relationships.
