Long time no comment. Sorry bout that - life's been a little hectic with a new baby and a lot of new learning.

I like the idea of using PLR content. - My only problem now it coming up with the money for it.

I've also just started a new strategy of being a type of new reporter in a market that I'm playing it. We'll see how that works too.

Oh, I'm glad you brought that up Ms. Freeman! I would NEVER use one of these articles as-is. You should always rewrite PLR a little if you plan to post it to your own blog or website to avoid duplicate content penalties. I like to look at a PLR article as a summary of or research on an article I could write.

In All Private Label's case, they are sold to many people each month. If you want unique content, you will need to use a service such as Elance – you can hire a freelance writer there. I did this for one of my stores several years ago. Unfortunately, I got what I paid for :). I pretty much rewrote everything. The more you invest, the better the quality.

I'm the same way Brad – that's why I would never use it to generate content on my own blog. However, it can be VERY useful for article marketing. They also work well in times of writers block – open an article and rewrite it in your own words.

Using PLR articles can maximize your time on other things apart from creating content. The risk there is if you don't edit or personalized that article you might get spanked by google for duplicate content

That is my concern as well; I don't want to get spanked by Google for posting duplicate content because someone else was sold the exact same article. I'm sure if you are recommending it then you have tried it out and approve of their quality. I simply suggest everyone do their own research as well. :)
