My wife has wanted to sell her homemade jewelry too for some time now but we keep forgetting to make the time to actually make it happen. Being an ‘online entrepreneur’ is a rewarding but very complicate business. I work with several clients affiliates network sites and have some very long days struggling to figure out solutions.

Thanks webbot! Right now, my main issue is customizing the theme. Of course, I have to make it difficult by using a theme that is not meant for BuddyPress! It's just going to take me some time to figure it all out. I appreciate your help!

I know how you feel. Along with my online misadventures I also work as a consulting engineer. My goal is to be an independent consultant while I make my real money through Affiliate marketing.

The single most important tool that I use to keep myself sane and free from burning out (I do go offline 3 times for a week every year too) is toodledo.com

With this you can keep track of your tasklist, set importance and dates, and every time you sit down to work it will tell you what you should be working on.

I have three contexts; work, home, and online shit, and therefore everything is in front of you.

Let me know what you think of it....I recommend getting the pro version.

Great Article Keller :-) Getting the 5 minute tasks done as early on the day as possible is a good idea. It's true – to many of those drive one nuts.

You also mentioned wordpress MU – i had set up WordPress MU installs before and i can say its a nice system if you wanna run multiple blogs without installing a new blog eacht time. :-)

One thing though – if you want to have custom plugins and themes etc. enabled automatically you have to go deep into the core. I had once written a step by step guide in telling how to do it. If you need it – let me know and i'll check if i can find it :-)
