Thanks for the GREAT feedback Andy! You brought up some awesome points.

It is very cool that your target market can now find you online rather than the other way around. This is what makes SEO so important for website owners.

If a business isn't online these days, it's missing out on a huge profit potential.

Hi Keller,

Good points all of them.

I'd probably say that point "4. An Internet Business Does NOT Require Long Work Hours" is certainly true, *and* also applies to Offline businesses. It's how the business owner goes about setting up their business, and what their initial goals are. I've found myself in the past getting successful at a line of work and then finding myself getting sucked into it more and more. One of the ways I want to measure success now is to measure how low maintenance an income stream is, with a goal to it becoming a passive income stream.

As to other advantages of offline businesses, I would say that the ability to network to so many different people online is a huge benefit. The learning curve can be massively shortened by finding people who've already trail blazed where you want to go, or who have the skills to help you. Outsourcing is something that any business owner/entrepreneur needs to learn to do, and being able to tap into the worldwide pool of talent and knowledge via the internet is a fantastic benefit.

Similarly, being able to tap into the worldwide demand via the internet rather than your local or national demand means that you can create a business that serves a very tight niche, and means that you can become the world leader in your particular field.

One of my favourite benefits of working online is that you reverse the sales process somewhat. WIth bricks-and-mortars shops you try and entice people in and then try and make a sale, with offline businesses you spend a significant amount of your time cold-calling and trying to get sales leads and move them through your sales funnel. In the online world you can design it so that you are found by people who are searching for you, which is brilliant as you know what they want already and can concentrate all your efforts in satisfying these needs.

Just my brain dump.

Great site Keller. Keep up the good work.

Andy
