POLL: Pink Websites that Target Both Men and Women

Keller's Thoughts

This is kind of a silly post, but I’m very curious about your feedback. I’m in the process of creating a social network website (hopefully to be launched in 2009). I’ve already designed the WordPress theme and I added a lot of pink to it. The color scheme is pink, blue and orange.

I want to know what men think about this in particular. Is it cool to have a lot of pink on a website that targets BOTH men and women? Or, would pink turn men off of it? Your feedback will help me a lot. I can’t wait to see the results of this poll!

Is it ok to have a lot of pink on a website that targets both men and women?

the question is where do you want to use the pink color, on the background or just some elements?

Just some elements. I made the top navigation bar pink and added pink to the logo. The sidebar headers will be a dark gray and links will be blue.

ok, that's fine with me, so long it's not a bunch of pink butterflies or ribbons…..:P

Ha ha! Linko, do you honestly think I would add pink butterflies and ribbons? Hum… now that you mention it, perhaps I should redesign FresheVenture.com – what do you think about pink flowers everywhere :)?
